This project will provide new facilities for the Children’s
Center. The center presently occupies 7,000 GSF in 40-year old buildings
that were the university’s initial facilities (#44) that accommodates
up to 95 children. This project will build 15,000 ASF/22,000 GSF
to accommodate 176 children. |

The Student Housing, Phase III project will consist of approximately
1,000 new beds in a residence hall configuration comprised of double
occupancy rooms with shared restrooms, lounges, kitchenettes and
study rooms. Also to be included within the scope of this study
is a new cafeteria style dining facility to serve the new housing
and a new parking structure to compensate for the loss of existing
surface parking on the site. The location for the project will be
immediately south and east of the existing student housing complex,

The permanent PIC is to be located on Arts Way providing a central location for campus visitors requiring parking assistance. The new PIC will provide drive-up and walk-up service to the campus community. |

The South Campus Drive (Nutwood) parking lot is being reconfigured to accommodate a new drop-off / pick-up turnaround at the Langsdorf fountain and plaza area. The parking lot will provide assigned parking for campus administration and a short term parking area for campus visitors. The project supports the newly configures campus entry at Folino Drive and the completed widening on Nutwood Avenue. |
